I recently visited this gorgeous, little yarn shop for some advice on a baby blanket I’m going to crochet. What a brilliant find! Steph was very generous with her time (despite being very busy in the shop- a good thing!) and gave me lots of advice, even looking through yarn catalogues to source the yarn I need. Thank you so much for your helpful and really useful information, which you were still happy to give even though you didn’t stock the yarn I need. Very kind. I shall be back. Highly recommended.

Spinning Yarns Ossett is a little treasure ! I am unable to knit that much at the moment, and when I do I MUST use up what I have. However If I do need anything-usually toy filling then I know where to go!. BUT – its not just about the stock – Steph runs a welcoming, happy shop and always seems genuinely pleased to welcome you, Yesterday, I was feeling rather “wobbly” and knew that I would be able to just go and sit down, chatting with Steph, until I was feeling able to continue. Thank You, Steph, it is much appreciated

Beautiful little shop and Steph the owner is amazing and offers the best advice! Prices are brilliant and the range of colours and yarns is perfect! Can’t recommend enough!

Spontaneously popped in today on a visit to Ossett and had a great experience in the shop. The new owner Steph is so friendly and approachable, she is running this as a proper community shop with “knit and natter” sessions and beginners crochet/knitting classes available. She is also publicising other community events that’s are on locally which is great to see. Wool choice looked decent too and there is a haberdashery section, though it didn’t mean much to me!

I came away with some patterns and wool and a resparked desire to knit. Definitely a shop to support. Can’t wait to visit again later in the summer to show what I’ve made and buy some more wool for my next project
